Overview

Henkel's equipment rental program allows our customers the flexibility to confirm the performance of our adhesive and equipment essentially risk-free before investing in capital equipment. If you decide to purchase the equipment in the first 30 days, the entire rental charge is credited. The benefits of this program include:

• No initial capital outlay is required.
• Trained Henkel personnel validate the equipment to be in good working order.
• Your manufacturing and maintenance staff gets “hands-on” with the equipment prior to purchase.
• The performance of a new manufacturing process can be confirmed in production representative conditions prior to purchase.
• No minimum billing on rentals. A daily rate is available.

Short-term production runs for rework or seasonal production can be performed without capital outlay.

Policy

• The Henkel Equipment Services department should be contacted for quotations, pricing, and availability of equipment at 860-571-5174.
• To rent equipment from Henkel, one of the following must apply:
  • You are an established Henkel customer and will use a purchase order.
  • You have a major credit card (Visa or MasterCard).
  • You will have an authorized Henkel distributor send Henkel a purchase order.
• The purchase order or credit card number must be received prior to shipping rental equipment.
• The customer must agree to the full terms and conditions as stated in our quotation.

• All equipment will be shipped by standard ground transportation such as UPS. All other shipping requests such as AIR or any other special carrier will be sent either collect or charged to an account given by the customer.
• Rental charges begin at the point of shipment.

• The customer must provide all the necessary items such as ventilation, utilities, and services associated with the installation of the equipment.
• The customer is responsible for reading all manuals prior to installation and training the operators on the equipment.
• Should you require Henkel to install or train your personnel on the equipment, services will be provided and charged for at our current service rates.

• The customer is responsible for providing standard maintenance on the equipment as outlined in the manual.

• Contact the Equipment Services department at 860-571-5174 for a return authorization number and shipping instructions.
• Equipment should be returned in the original packaging or crate. Failure to return the equipment in the original shipping container may result in additional charges.
• All components must be returned with the equipment. If parts are missing, the customer will be notified to return or replace the missing items. If the parts are not returned, the customer will be charged for the missing items.
• Equipment should be cleaned of all products prior to return. Please remove all product bottles, flush and cap lines, and disassemble all parts. Failure to clean and disassemble the equipment may result in an additional service charge to clean and/or rebuild the equipment as required.
• Damaged equipment will result in the customer being billed for the cost of repair or, if the unit is not repairable, the list price of the equipment.
• Equipment must be returned as instructed to avoid additional rental charges.

• Daily and monthly rates for equipment rentals are listed below.
• One hundred percent credit of the rental charges will be credited if the equipment is purchased within the first thirty (30) days of evaluation. No credit will be issued after thirty days.
• Requests for extra items beyond what is shipped in the original carton will be charged for at list price.
• The cost of adhesives used while using the rental equipment is not included in the rental rate
